EU confirms closure of copper cartel probe

The European Commission has confirmed that it has closed an investigation into alleged cartel-like behavior among major copper concentrate producers.

"The case is now closed," a commission spokeswoman said. "The decision was taken because there were no sufficient grounds for further investigation activities."....
