Jail e-cycler breaks into Arkansas households

Federal Prison Industries Inc. (FPI) has expanded its electronics recycling role outside the U.S. government with a one-year experimental project serving households in Arkansas.

The cost of shipping the discards via Federal Express Corp. is being paid for by FPI, a wholly owned government corporation within the U.S. Justice Department. The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality is a co-sponsor of "Project Green Fed," providing publicity and outreach but not funding.....
