Alcoa building larger facility to serve Ferrari

Alcoa Inc. will build a larger manufacturing facility in Modena, Italy, as part of a long-term strategic partnership with Ferrari SpA aimed at creating advanced aluminum spaceframe technology.
The Pittsburgh-based aluminum giant said the new 54,000-square-foot plant, which will require an investment of 400,000 euros ($478,000), will double Alcoa's spaceframe production capacity. The facility is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2006.....
