Wabash plans to add natural gas cost mechanism to '06 contracts

Wabash Alloys LLC will include "a natural gas adjustment mechanism" as part of its pricing arrangements in 2006 sales contracts, the Wabash, Ind.
The smelter group, which makes specification alloy from aluminum scrap, said "negotiated spot sales contracts" would not be affected. The company's posted short-term prices already reflect current replacement costs of scrap raw material, natural gas and other inputs, the company said in a statement Monday.....
