AK names Wainscott to additional post of chairman effective Jan. 1

AK Steel Corp., Middletown, Ohio, has named James L. Wainscott chairman effective Jan. 1.
Wainscott has been AK Steel's president and chief executive officer since October 2003 and will retain those roles. He took the positions on an interim basis in September of that year following a management shuffle and was appointed to the positions full time a month later. He also was elected to the board of directors in October 2003.....
