Ameristeel's Casey to receive award from SMA

Phillip E. Casey, chairman and chief executive officer of Gerdau Ameristeel Corp., Tampa, Fla., has been selected by the Steel Manufacturers Association to receive the Kenneth Iverson-Marvin Selig Award.
The award, which will be presented at the SMA's annual board of directors meeting in February, was established by the Washington-based trade group in 2000 to honor individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the mini-mill industry, exemplifying the best values and qualities of....
