China takes bigger slice of aluminum exports

China's share of U.S. aluminum scrap exports surpassed 60 percent for the first time in August.
The monthly total to all destinations exceeded 100,000 short tons for the third time ever, falling slightly short of April and the record 102,866 tons in May, and the year-to-date pace remained 68.6 percent ahead of last year, when the peak month posted slightly more than 70,000....
