Energy, aerospace demand boost ATI's profit

Driven by strong demand for its more specialized products, Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI), Pittsburgh, logged a tenfold increase in third-quarter net income to $88.3 million despite weaker demand for traditional flat-rolled products.
