Smorgon sets sights on growth in China

Australian scrap processor and steelmaker Smorgon Steel Group Ltd. plans to acquire a stake in a metals recycler in China.

Speaking at the company's annual meeting last week in Sydney, Ray Horsburgh, Smorgon's chief executive officer, told shareholders that future growth in the company's scrap business would be overseas.....
