Italy still at risk of government ban on ferrous imports trader

Italy's steelmakers and scrap importers still face the threat of a government-imposed embargo on ferrous scrap imports, an Italian scrap trader said last week.

Ruggero Alocci, owner of Genoa-based Alocci Rappresentanze Industriali, told industry members attending the Bureau of International Recycling's fall conference in Milan that there is still a risk that the government might block their ferrous scrap shipments to Italy.....
