Mittal Steel gets draft permit to expand landfill

A landfill used to dispose of steel mill waste could be getting bigger.

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a draft permit for an expansion of an existing Cleveland-area landfill, formerly owned by International Steel Group Inc., where waste from Mittal Steel USA's steel operations is placed. Mittal Steel USA purchased ISG earlier this year....
