Hayes Dockside refusing delivery of copper to New Orleans depots

Comex-registered warehouses in New Orleans operated by Hayes Dockside Inc. are closed to deliveries of copper cathode as a result of damage caused by Hurricane Katrina in late August, the New York Mercantile Exchange said Monday.
The two Hayes Dockside warehouses, which currently do not hold any warranted copper, are unable to accept copper cathode to be placed on warrant for delivery against Comex's contract, the exchange said. Exchange members will be informed when the facilities....
