German secondary ingot maker files bankruptcy

German secondary zinc and aluminum ingot producer Greuter & Kerscher Metallhuettenbetrieb GmbH & Co. KG has filed for bankruptcy protection.
The company is now up for sale, an executive said, and negotiations have started with several interested parties. If no buyer is found, production will stop in January, he said.....
