Arca logs mixed results in quarter, 9 months

Sales of new but dented home appliances continue to outpace revenue from scrapping old refrigerators and freezers for electric power companies, said Appliance Recycling Centers of America Inc. (Arca).
The Minneapolis-based company's net income fell 81.9 percent to $47,000 during the third quarter ended Oct. 1 despite revenue that increased 42.4 percent to $20.7 million.....
