Zinc alloy premiums solid despite increasing costs of energy, freight

Zinc alloy premiums have been tethered in place by competition among producers despite continuing cost pressures from energy, freight and raw materials.

As tight market conditions for raw materials persist, zinc alloyers jockeying for business are making it more difficult to pass along cost increases, market sources said.....
