Ormet, Burnside workers meet; Hannibal energy solution mulled

Ormet Corp., Wheeling, W.Va., and United Steelworkers union representatives met this week as part of ongoing efforts to reach a new labor deal at the company's Burnside, La., alumina refinery.
Michael S. Williams, Ormet's president and chief executive officer, said via e-mail that the two sides exchanged proposals and that both the company and union continue to "negotiate in good faith."....
