New line for coating wide coil to be built by Alcoa in France

Alcoa Inc. will introduce a new coil-coating line in early 2007 capable of coating thin aluminum coils up to two meters in width, the company said Thursday.
Alcoa Architectural Products Merxheim (AAPM), a business wing of the Pittsburgh-based aluminum giant, is constructing the new $40-million coil-coating facility adjacent to its plant in Merxheim, France.....
