China's appetite for copper scrap appears undiminished even as the surging primary copper price pushes the top grades of copper scrap to record levels.

No. 1 copper scrap is trading at around 33,000 to 34,500 yuan ($4,081 to $4,267) a tonne in China, close to the current cash....
