Teck Rule changes key to China investment

Teck Cominco Ltd., Vancouver, British Columbia, is considering investing in minerals exploration in China, but will do so only if the country's regulations are strengthened.
"We are investigating opportunities at a very high level, but the key for us is to find the right partners and for the evolution of rules and regulations to continue if we are to invest," Doug Horswill, Teck Cominco's senior vice president of environment and corporate affairs, told a mining conference in Beijing organized by China's Ministry of Land and Resources.....
