Magnesium slips as '06 contracts said nearly done

Negotiations for 2006 magnesium contracts are nearly complete, and prices appear to have softened from last year.

Several industry sources said that contract prices for pure magnesium are settling in a range of $1.25 to $1.32 a pound, although others see contracts as low as $1.20 a pound and as high....
