Former LTV processing facility set for makeover by PolyMet Mining

PolyMet Mining Corp., Vancouver, British Columbia, has finalized its purchase of the former LTV Steel Mining Co. ore processing plant, which will now be reborn as a processor of nonferrous and precious metals.
The company said the acquisition of select parts of the former LTV ore processing facilities in northeastern Minnesota that were optioned from Cliffs Erie LLC, a unit of Cleveland-based Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., was completed Tuesday.....
