Nikkelverk production loss less than expected

A breakdown at Falconbridge Ltd.'s Nikkelverk refinery in Norway will have less of an impact on production than was originally thought, the company said Wednesday
"The problem has been rectified," a company spokesman said. "We are ramping up capacity faster than anticipated and now expect the production loss to be around 1,000 tonnes of refined nickel. Our new 2005 refined nickel forecast is 84,000 tonnes vs. 85,000 tonnes previously."....
