Zinc, lead mine output part paths in September

Despite a 1.4-percent drop in world zinc mine production to 846,500 tonnes in September, the tally for the first nine months of the year remained 3.4 percent ahead of a year earlier at 7.4 million tonnes, according to the latest data from the International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG), London.Global refined zinc metal production totaled 861,000 tonnes in September, up 1.1 percent from August, contributing to a modest 1.2-percent gain in nine-month production compared with a year earlier.....
