IBH seeking partners to restart Fior HBI plant

Venezuela's International Briquettes Holding (IBH), Caracas, is seeking partners to restart its idled 400,000-tonne-a-year Fior HBI plant in Puerto Ordaz.

The facility stopped production in 2002 due to weak market conditions, an Orinoco Iron spokesman said. Caracas-based Orinoco Iron forms part of IBH, along with direct-reduced iron producer....
