SSAB shifting its winter haul to Albany port

High-strength steel sheet and plate producer Swedish Steel AB (SSAB), Stockholm, Sweden, will use the Port of Albany as its new winter port starting next month and continuing through March, port and city officials in Albany, N.Y., said.
The steelmaker previously used Philadelphia as its winter port when the St. Lawrence Seaway closed for the season, but expects to get better attention for its shipments at the smaller Albany port, officials said.....
