US raw steel output up; 2 regions buck trend

Raw steel output in the United States totaled 1,993,000 tons last week, up 1.9 percent from 1,956,000 tons produced the previous week, as mills operated at an average capability utilization rate of 86.3 percent. Indiana-Chicago and the West were the only regions to buck the trend.....
