Dietrich buys out Canadian framing venture

Dietrich Metal Framing, a unit of Worthington Industries Inc., Columbus, Ohio, has purchased the 40 percent of Dietrich Metal Framing Canada that it did not already own from its joint-venture partner, Encore Coils Inc., Edmonton, Alberta.
No purchase price was announced.
The joint venture was formed only a year ago. For Encore Coils, the partnership replaced its former affiliation with the roll-forming manufacturing business of Corus Group Plc, which was sold separately when the Anglo-Dutch steel and aluminum producer divested Encore Coils and its other....
