Magnesium prices down in 2006 contracts

Prices for pure magnesium in 2006 annual contracts are down as much as 22 percent from this year's levels, industry sources said Friday.
With supplies plentiful in the United States, magnesium consumers were able to twist the arms of producers, sources said, taking 2006 contract prices to between $1.17 and $1.19 a pound from $1.40 to $1.50 per pound in....
