Ipsco workers approve contracts at two plants

About 1,000 members of the United Steelworkers union have ratified new labor agreements with Ipsco Inc., Lisle, Ill.

Workers at Ipsco's operation in Regina, Saskatchewan, represented by USW Local 5890 and members of USW Local 6673 in Calgary, Alberta, this week ratified the tentative five-year labor agreements reached last month for early renewal of collective bargaining contracts (AMM, Nov. 17). The new....
