Chinese appetite couldn't stop zinc export dip

U.S. exports of zinc scrap dipped slightly in September, although Chinese buyers continued to claim an ever-growing share of this segment of the nonferrous secondary metals market.

Shipments of the galvanizing metal totaled 5,149 short tons in September, down 3.2 percent from 5,320 tons exported in August, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Commerce Department.....
