Inco exec says big Goro nickel project will be 'cash machine'

Inco Ltd.'s Goro ferronickel project in New Caledonia "will be a cash machine," chairman and chief executive officer Scott Hand told investors Thursday at Bear Stearns' Commodities and Capital Goods Conference in New York.

Nearly 900 workers are currently working on site at Goro, which is expected to produce 60,000 tonnes of nickel and between 4,300 and 5,000 tonnes of cobalt annually.....
