Court orders Massey to disclose pricing info

Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. won a small victory in its legal fight against a Massey Energy Co. subsidiary when a judge ruled that the coal company must turn over customer pricing information.
The Wheeling, W.Va., steelmaker alleged in court papers filed in April that Central West Virginia Energy Co., a Massey subsidiary, breached a contract to supply coal to the steelmaker's Follansbee, W.Va., coke plant (AMM, April 28). Wheeling-Pittsburgh alleged that the Massey subsidiary illegally diverted metallurgical coal to the spot market or to foreign producers who were willing to pay more than what was required of the steelmaker under....
