Rail strike unnerves copper miners in Chile

Chilean copper miners are becoming increasingly nervous as a strike by workers at rail company Ferrocarril de Antofagasta a Bolivia (FCAB) entered its third day Friday with both the union and railroad managers refusing to talk to each other.
"There is no pressure yet from (copper miners) on FCAB as we have other transportation options, but if the strike lasts longer we will ask them to end it quickly," said Fernando Bolt, manager of logistics for Corporacion Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco), one of the large copper producers that uses....
