Air Products starts separation plant in China

Air Products & Chemicals Inc. has powered up a new air separation plant in Tangshan, Hebei province, to supply gaseous oxygen via pipeline to Tangshan Guofeng Steel, a member of China's Xinfeng Group, and Tangshan Fufeng Steel Co.
Air Products has been supplying liquid oxygen to the Xinfeng Group since 1999. Xinfeng Group's decision in 2003 to expand its production capacity in Tangshan prompted Air Products' investment in the new plant.....
