Hellas Gold completes shipment of zinc concentrate from Stratoni

Hellas Gold SA has completed its first shipment of zinc concentrate from the company's Stratoni Mine in northern Greece, according to European Goldfields Ltd., which owns 65 percent of Hellas Gold.
In November, Hellas Gold entered into offtake agreements for the sale of Stratoni's lead, silver and zinc concentrates with Trafigura Beheer BV, Euromin SA and MDIL (UK) Ltd. At current metal prices, the agreements are expected to generate $114 million by 2008.....
