World lead production rises as consumption keeps pace

Global refined lead metal production rose 9.7 percent in the first 10 months of this year to 6.2 million tonnes, while lead consumption increased 6.2 percent to 6.3 million tonnes compared with the same period in 2004, according to the latest statistics from the International Lead and Zinc....
