China's '04 crude, finished steel output figures bumped upward

China's National Statistics Bureau has revised upward official 2004 steel production figures, adding another 10 million tonnes to crude steel output and 22 million tonnes to finished steel.
The revision put 2004 crude steel output at 282.9 million tonnes and finished steel production at 319.8 million tonnes. This year, China is on course to produce about 350 million tonnes of crude steel and almost 370 million tonnes of....
