Aluminum alloy price retreat said looming

Although the U.S. price of A380.1 aluminum alloy continues to climb on the back of record London Metal Exchange prices and strong stateside demand, a reversal is on the horizon, producers said Thursday.

The current price for A380.1 generally is 90 to 91 cents a pound, although Wabash Alloys LLC, Wabash, Ind., the largest producer of secondary aluminum alloys, lists a price of 92 cents a pound.

But those prices aren't expected to stay that way for long.....
