Unpaid Waxman lawyer threatens to walk

Chester Waxman, who has done his share to make the legal profession a full-employment trade, reportedly is having a problem paying his attorneys.
One of them, Toronto attorney Edward J. Babin, told a Canadian judge last week that his firm, Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg LLP, might not be able to continue with the case, according to a local press report. "If funding isn't released and something paid on the balance (owed to the firm), we will have to be making a motion to have our firm removed from the record," he said in....
