German steel group baffled by rod case

German steel federation Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl (WV Stahl) is "surprised and disappointed" that German mills have been included in a U.S. International Trade Commission investigation into the alleged dumping of wire rod in the U.S. market in 2004 and 2005.
WV Stahl said that wire rod products shipped from Germany are in demand by U.S. consumers as domestic production isn't sufficient to satisfy the needs of the market and present no competition to U.S. producers.....
