Brazilian aluminum production logs slight gain as exports slide

Brazil's aluminum industry is expected to produce 1.5 million tonnes of primary metal this year, a marginal increase from 1.46 million tonnes in 2004.
Brazilian smelters produced 1.37 million tonnes of primary aluminum in the first 11 months of this year, up 2.5 percent from the same period last year.....
