Imsa Acero's capacity boost wins approval

Grupo Imsa SA de CV, Monterrey, Mexico, is enhancing its position in the automotive, appliance and refrigeration markets in Mexico with a $120-million investment designed to increase production capacity at its Imsa Acero operations in Monterrey.
Grupo Imsa's board of directors approved the investment package Thursday. The funding will be used to increase production capacity of cold-rolled, pre-painted and galvanized steel sheet mostly by adding a new galvanizing and painting line.....
