CBOT, SGX eye metals for new exchange

Metals and other commodities imported into Asia are expected to be among contracts that will be developed for trading on a new derivatives market being developed by Singapore Exchange Ltd. (SGX) and the Chicago Board of Trade.

The two exchanges said they had agreed to form a 50-50 joint-venture company called Joint Asian Derivatives Pte. Ltd. to establish a derivatives market to be known as the Joint Asian Derivatives Exchange (Jade).....
