Zelms' Doe Run exit said part of shift in focus

Jeffrey L. Zelms, head of Doe Run Co. for the past 20 years, has announced a two-stage retirement from the St. Louis-based company. He will give up the president's post Jan. 1, then step down as vice chairman and chief executive officer April 1.
Bruce Neil, currently president of Doe Run Peru, will succeed Zelms as president and will add the chief executive officer role upon Zelm's exit in April. Neil will continue to fulfill his role as president of Doe Run Peru until that time.....
