Mittal to merge two main US units by early '06

Mittal Steel Co. NV is taking the d.b.a. out of its alphabet with the merger of its two U.S. operating subsidiaries.

The company said its wholly owned Mittal Steel USA ISG Inc. and Ispat Inland Inc. subsidiaries would merge. Under the transaction, Inland will be folded into ISG, with ISG remaining as the surviving corporation. Following consummation of....
