Metso supplying shredder to Japan scrapyard

Metso Minerals Oy will supply a metal shredder to Yamanaka & Co. Ltd. for its scrapyard in Sendai, Japan.
Metso said in a statement that it will deliver a 3,000-horsepower shredder and ancillary equipment-including a plant control system, rotor cooling and site monitoring system, and nonferrous and shredder light-fraction separation equipment-to the Japanese scrap processor by the end of 2006.
