Wear plate imports facing Commerce review

The U.S. Commerce Department is initiating a "changed circumstances" review on imports of certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from Canada and Germany.
The petitioners in the original anti-dumping case against those countries have indicated that they no longer have any interest in the impact of wear plate imports.
Eutectic USA, Menomonee Falls, Wis., wrote to Commerce last month requesting that wear plate marketed in the United States as "Castodur Diamond Plate" be removed from current anti-dumping orders. Eutectic's letter included information from U.S. petitioners and interested parties saying those parties "have affirmatively expressed a lack of interest in the continuation of the orders with respect to this product."....
