Metso confirms shredder orders for yards in Ala., Iowa

Metso Minerals, a unit of Finland's Metso Corp., confirmed Wednesday that its recently purchased U.S. subsidiary will be providing two shredders to Alter Trading Corp. next year, with start-up set for late April in Alabama and early summer in Iowa.
Alter's Mobile, Ala., unit will be 5,000 horsepower and able to handle 27,000 tonnes a month. Alter, based in St. Louis, is developing the Alabama facility from scratch, Metso said.....
