Workers return to Codelco after one-day strike

Contract workers at Corporacion Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco) returned to their jobs Friday after a one-day strike to protest the company's refusal to provide bonus pay.
Workers who downed tools at Codelco's Andina and El Teniente mining divisions returned Friday and production was running normally, a source close to the company said. But the threat of further disruptive action by as many as 28,000 contract workers at several Codelco divisions remains if the company and union leaders fail to break the deadlock over bonus pay.....
