No word yet on stockpile cobalt sales plans

The head of the U.S. Defense National Stockpile Center still has no word on whether he'll be able to resume cobalt sales to the public.
"There's still nothing to report at this time," DNSC administrator Cornel Holder said Thursday. "When we do, we'll make an announcement as to whether we'll go back into the market."
The DNSC, a unit of the Defense Logistics Agency, currently has 3.2 million pounds of cobalt cathode stockpiled. It has sold all of its stocks of granular and rondelle forms of the silver-blue metal, leaving only the higher-purity cathode.....
